Healthy Bays Network forms to fight open-net finfish farms

Cermaq may have departed, but thanks to the NS Department of Fisheries and Aquaculture’s open-door-to-open-pens policy, this retrograde aquaculture technology is about to explode on Nova Scotia’s coasts. 

To address the challenge, impacted NS coastal communities have joined forces as the Healthy Bays Network.
